It seems like forever since you've been gone. There is not a day that goes by that I dont think about you and Al and all the good times we've had. Went to a drumline last night and one of the drummer was named Jordan and  they played several songs that you liked....The touching part was another drummer said she had no idea why she wanted to share and had never told anyone her struggle.  Her sister had died two  years ago and left two small children behind.  She said the drumline actually brought her peace like nothing and noone could ever bring her!  I told her thanks for sharing and how precious you are to our family and how much we still miss you! MOM'S BIRTHDAY  / Mom
Well Son I hit the big 60 and it was quite the party.  What a fantastic surprise.  Family and friends gathered for a big suprise celebration and we had a wonderful time.  The only thing that could have made it better would to have you celebrate with us.  Time passes but your constantly on our minds.  It's strange how it seems that you were just here with us and now two years have passed since we have seen your beautiful face with that beautiful smile.  Everyday I pass your picture hanging in the hall and wish you were still here.  Time passes but my love and memories for you will live on forever.  I love you Jordan. When i think about you, and end up thinking about how i feel, i realize that i don't. there are days when i dont think i can feel because everything i've ever had, a full chain of family, has been ripped away. i wish i could have saved you. i know it has been 2 years now, but it feels like yesterday still. there are things that you would be proud of, and things you might not agree with in my life. i took for granted the fact that i knew that every night after you mowed, went to school, or hung out with friends that you would be coming home to go to bed. anyways.... love you forever and i will see you again someday and hold your hand when our whole family can be together again. We still visit you often and talk fondly about you.  Wishing you were still so much a part of us.  I know you are on the journey with us and we need only look at the simple things around us to understand.  It however is very hard to understand some of the things and people who are ill willed and have no answers.  May your loving arms wrap around those of us who are still longing to witness something about you that can help us heal.  You are an incredible brother now and always.  I miss your smile and your carefree attitude.  Peace and love baby brother! Today another family is experiencing what we have all been thru in the last  21 months.  I pray that God will comfort their family as he continues to guide our's.  Each and every day is still a struggle for each and everyone of us.  But I know deep in my heart without God's strength that we would not been able to come as far as we have.  So today I say to you I love you with all my heart and Miss you terribly.  I pray that with time the sting in all our hearts will be lifted and we can be at peace with you.  Until then I ask for God's help and strength for our entire family.  May he extend his open arm's to us and pick us all up to re-newed happiness and perserverance to go on to each new day.  I also would like to say "HAPPY EASTER" to you as we look forward to the day our chain will not be broken any longer.  Luv you Son!!!!!! Well Jordan its your bday again.  Missing you everyday that will never change.    We got snow you would love to ride your sled.  Did some riding but it isnt the same without you busting through drifts with me or getting stuck.  Wanted to say happpy birthday and to tell you that we visted you on your bday wish we were celebrating it with a party but what do we do about that?  Brother we all miss you and one day we will see each other again.  Love you Jordan!!! I STILL WONDER WHY  / Mom (MOM)

TO THIS VERY DAY I STILL WONDER WHY THINGS HAD TO BE THIS WAY??  IF WE COULD DO OVER THAT DAY I AM SURE THERE ARE MANY THINGS WE WOULD ALL DO DIFFERENT.  HOW SAD IT IS TODAY TO TRY AND CELEBRATE YOUR 16TH BIRTHDAY WITHOUT YOU.  I COULDN'T EVEN GET INTO THE CEMETERY TODAY DUE TO ALL THE SNOW, BUT YOUR DAD RODE YOUR SNOMOBILE AND MIKE RODE HIS AND THEY PAID YOU A VISIT ON THE SNOWMOBILE'S.

SO MUCH SNOW THIS WINTER, I KNOW YOU WOULD HAVE LOVED IT TO BE ABLE TO RIDE YOUR SNOWMOBILE.  I HOPE YOU HAVE A NICE BIRTHDAY IN HEAVEN.  THERE ISN'T A DAY THAT PASSES THAT YOU ARE NOT ON MY MIND.  I DRIVE BY SOMEPLACE AND REMEMBER WHAT WE DID AT THAT PLACE.  THE OTHER DAY I DROVER PAST MCKENNAN PARK AND I REMEMBER ALL THE TIMES THAT WE WOULD GO TO SIOUX FALLS AND STOP AT MICKEY DEE'S PICKUP BREAKFAST AND GO TO THE PARK FOR STORY TIME AND SWIM IN THE POOL AFTERWARDS.

MEMORIES ARE ALL WE HAVE LEFT OF YOU.  BUT THESE MEMORIES WILL NEVER DIE.  KNOW ALWAYS THAT I LOVE YOU AND WILL FOREVER BE THINKING ABOUT YOU.

SOMEDAY OUR FAMILY CHAIN WILL ALL BE ONE AGAIN.  UNTIL THEN I PRAY THAT EACH AND EVERY PERSON IN OUR FAMILY WILL BE BLESSED WITH THE KNOWLEDGE AND STRENGTH TO MOVE FORWARD IN LIFE.
